This was one of my favorite episodes. They were throwing Fred a coming home party. He gave Esther the works in that party too. You may already know this, but in real life, Redd Foxx was just returning to the show after walking out. I actually recorded this whole entire episode while testing out my new cassette player I had bought from the drug store. They had recently come out.
