You can be sorry the situation happened, without being sorry about what didn't happen.

The whole situation is unfortunate, but he didn't rape her, so :yeshrug:

Apologizing would be indirectly admitting guilt.

Also, like I said. Its not surprising theyre doing this on the leadup to a film about Nat Turner and his black led uprising against racist white people.

Especially with the symbolism the movie will provide and especially with the current racial climate of the country.

Them folks weren't gone let this movie take off without any controversy surrounding it to distract from the very serious message behind the film.

Which is, we ARE coming. And we CAN'T be stopped.

He should've kept this stance from the outset. HE was exonerated of ALL charges by a trial of peers. George Zimmerman isn't running around apologizing for murder and neither should Nate Parker.
Exactly. fukk all those cacs who want him to apologize. Let the white tears commence. :blessed:

Nate Parker said:
“I was falsely accused. I went to court. I was vindicated,” Parker says. “I feel terrible that this woman isn’t here. Her family had to deal with that, but as I sit here, an apology is—no.”

Let's also not forget he was 19 when this happen. A white man is 19 and does this, he was "just a kid".

No one holds Mark Wahlbergs past over his head, or any of those other white people who have done foul ass shyt in their youth. Not allegations, shyt that has been confirmed.

Hell, Brock Turner DID rape a woman and he got 3 months in jail and his father and the judge saying "He shouldn't pay the rest of his life for getting a little action"

I mean cmon.

"For those planning to boycott the film because of the accusations, here is a long list of celebrities whose films (or music) you should also boycott due to having been convicted, accused or simply championed violence against women and children:

-Roman Polanski raped a 13-year-old and has since won an Oscar to a standing ovation.
-Sean Connery is the celebrated embodiment of rugged cool, who has openly championed beating women in order to keep ’em in line.
-Bill Murray has been accused by his ex-wife of repeated, brutal physical abuse.
-Rick James was arrested for torturing and sexually abusing a woman for three days straight, only to have his image rehabilitated by Dave Chappelle years later.
-John Lennon is one of the most worshipped artists who has ever drawn breath, and he has copped to battering the $#@% out of women."

This one has Always confused the fukk out of me. It's not even that he doesn't get Criticism. It's that somehow this man became the face of world peace and had a deep history in going upside women's heads. And so few people know about it.

You think of him and you think this
make+love+not+war.jpg

And not about him beating his wives and abusing his sons, being a racist. :what:

Perception. Propaganda.

"In the years that followed, Nate Parker became a well-known actor. It tormented my sister to see him thrive while she was still struggling. "

"In 2012, she committed suicide. It took me more than two years to not cry uncontrollably every day over her loss."
