The Republican nomination is a different animal than a Presidential Election. Nate Silver is 99% accurate over last 2 elections predicting the states. I know the Trump fans hate that reality but it'll happen again. These threads will get bumped when it does. So 3 elections worth of data should be enough if you struggle to figure things out.
