Fox Sports 1 got ESPN Scrambling

Silver, 35, is the statistician who gained fame for devising algorithms that accurately predicted the 2008 and 2012 presidential races. Silver is taking his FiveThirtyEight franchise to ESPN, where he will have a prominent role on the new Keith Olbermann show and also appear on ABC News during election cycles, according to Brian Stelter at TheNew York Times.
The Times brought in Silver and FiveThirtyEight in August 2010, but that contract is expiring, allowing ESPN to pick up the franchise and giving Silver an on-air platform in addition to his popular blog.
Silver's blog was a big traffic driver for The Times. New Republic reported in November that just before the 2012 presidential election FiveThirtyEight accounted for about 20% of the overall visits to TheNew York Times website.
Silver made his mark as a baseball statistician before joining The Times

ESPN was forced to signed Bomani Jones, because NBCsports were about to offer him a contract.

With most of ESPN's talent leaving to rival network they can't afford not to sign Silver.

The Passage of Time
So Let see what we have now NBC, CBS coupled with ShowTime, FOX Sports and ESPN1,2,3 desportes, classic, U and News, Turner Sports along with HBO. Colleges and Pro Sports owners are about to get Paid, in addition the major sports also have their own network as well NFL, NBA, MLB and Hockey.

I don't want to hear one god damn word when these new networks start adding shows for entertainment value as well as creating stats for anything. Whatever content you get be content.
