Pusha T's latest diss track toward Drake sparks a bigger conversation.
Pusha T and Drake's beef turned up to another level after the release of Daytona. In less than twenty four hours, Drake clapped back with his "Duppy Freestyle" which was undoubtedly a fire diss track. While it was no "Back To Back," it was clear that Drake wasn't stepping down with this feud. Pusha T fired right back at Drake on his new track, "The Story Of Adidon" which didn't only take shots at Drake but also his friends, family and his alleged son. One line that stood out was his line about OVO 40 suffering from multiple sclerosis disease. However, as the shot fired came ahead of MS day and the National MS Society had some words for Push.
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society has officially responded to Pusha T's shots at OVO 40 on "The Story Of Adidon." Eileen Curran, Senior Director National PR/Media for the National MS Society issued a statement regarding Pusha T's lyrics.
"It’s troubling to hear that a person’s disability would be made fun of by others. Multiple sclerosis, which affects more than 2.3 million people worldwide, is an often misunderstood disease. People living with MS face many challenges every day, which is why it’s so important to continue to raise awareness for MS so others can better understand those challenges. We at the National MS Society see this as an opportunity to raise awareness of this disease, the people who live with it, and the support that is out there – especially since today is World MS Day." It reads.
Pusha T's diss track arrived merely hours before World MS Day. Shortly after the track dropped, Noah "40" Shebib responded, "Coincidentally... tomorrow is World MS Day."
Earlier this morning, this was brought up to Push on The Breakfast Club to which he replied, "Oh man, wow, that’s ironic.”
