Nationalism rising in white countries

I don't know how to really feel about this on some level
While I'd like to see this subside, a lot of these nation-states never really considered integration or diversity like that. They'll offer asylum to a few folks under the guise of being altruistic, but its undeniable that what they claim as "history" is predicated on a sense of identity that they can't maintain if they see too much of a shift and Europe is definitely facing it.
I say all that to say that the USA shouldn't be compared to whats going on in Europe. We have a unique and diverse history...they don't and so whatever happens will be a result of a complex dialogue each of these nations will need to have as it relates to what they want to perceive themselves as.
