I had really wanted to go navy, but I had MULTIPLE people tell me not to. Some of them just straight up said, you'll be raped. You're out on a ship and there's barely women, etc. So I went to the Air Force.

To be fair they weren’t really wrong A lot, and I mean A LOT of sexual harassment/abuse/assaults happen on those ships.

It’s better nowadays but I wouldn’t want my daughter out there frfr

she's going to use a female head, have female fitness standards,issued standard uniform items for females, live in female berthing and if she's not apart of an integrated division.... will be in a female division.

You made the best choice quality of living wise.

It's horror stories in all the branches, but being a woman on a ship is not the most welcoming place.
