Ended up buying the game again for $16. Got my player up to 89ovr without buying VC and been playing Jordan Rec. Now what's crazy is Playing My Career against the AI is actually pretty fun. Court spacing, running plays, hoping your AI Teammates hit the 3 ball. But once you get online that's over with.

Every online game is the same, 3s, Dunks, reach spam, and full court passes. This is actually what the NBA 2k community loves, it's no wonder why the game so trash. A bunch of dumb nikkas and cacs who ain't never touched a basketball. And don't let me get started on the retard animations or how big men can't hold the ball because it's stolen off 1 swipe. These devs ain't never watched a basketball game, let along played. The game wouldn't be bad if they got rid of the cheese.




I just wish we could get a grown man basketball simulator.

It sucks because the offline gameplay is good. The online play is trash. Mycareer needs a separate online and offline mode. Mynba is a great mode but full of random bugs. But it let's you do pretty much anything with a basketball season.

Nah, 2K has pretty much always been trash breh. Going online is when it really started. 2K is the COD of shooters. Cheap dumb op perks and cheese, no thinking process. its not basketball. its 2K. court too small, dumb ass animation, stamina has no effect(i dont give a fukk if its on 5 min quarters, a nikka shouldnt be able to dribble like mr. professor forever)
there is no defense, so they over compensate by everyone blocking dunks and gettin steals like crazy. everyone can shoots over 60% from 3

The canned animation shyt gets worst every year. The concept of "speed boosting" doesn't belong in a sim.

There is zero strategy--three hunt, press, get bump steals, get more badges to make your dunks unblockable.

I was lowkey addicted to 2k21 during COVID and had problems with the game--next gen was actually a lot better than the Ps4 version, but, I ended up buying 2k22 after having that version for a month. That shyt was worst from the first game I played.

Mycareer needs a separate online and offline mode

Been saying this since I played 2k16 like three years late (was playing 2k11 offline for damn near a decade) and saw that once the servers went down I could only play games and couldn't even change my player's shoes because all that was tied to the online server.

Game is unplayable online. I buy 2k almost every year, play for two weeks then stop. The game has so much potential but they always fukk it up.
