remember when Homer boxed Tatum and they said "due to popular request we will forgo the national anthem"? that was the biggest boxing match of the 90's.

They at least need to drastically cut back on its use. For a big game, I can understand the extra stuff, anthem, halftime show, etc, but doing it every single game is just obnoxious.

A lot of fans and pretty much all of the players just talk through it.
