This shyt is comical. So you understand the problem with allowing teams to foul players that don't have the ball, which is why you prohibit it in the last 2 minutes? So what exactly is the reason why you don't apply that to the entire game? It's like they are doing everything but that.

I think we have seen this enough through the years and across enough different players to know that JUST MAKE YOUR FREE THROWS isn't really valid. Some guys, usually guys with bigger hands just can't make them consistently, it is what it is.

If this was baseball they'd probably allow a pinch shooter. Football has kickers who probably shouldnt even be considered football players. Athletes in the same sport can have very different skillsets...

Not only that but rules have been changed that effect only a few players in the past...i.e. Wilt Shaq and Barkley

i dont get why there wasnt support to allow the team to pick their own free throw shooter from the 5 guys on the floor for an off the ball foul when youre in the penalty. it eliminates that as a strategy for the entire game. generally i dont like having one set of rules with 2:01 left and then a different set of rules 2 seconds later. i think you either force pros to make their free throws or you do like i said and eliminate it entirely without resorting to an extra punitive measure of a free throw and the ball back. way too wishy washy, but i should have expected as much.

this is about as bad as the flopping rules.
