NBA Experts: Are we really sure that Towns will be better than Porzingis?

Kat has fallen in love with the 3. It kinda annoys me
I read a story that he was completely in love with it before Coach K got his hands on him and he always out there shooting threes and they had basically force him to get in the paint and post to go to work. He's falling back into his old habits now.
He was basically a perimeter player in HS.

That said, Porzingis has been the better of the two this season, he's a much better interior defender than Towns who realistically is a Power Forward as well.
Towns is a great talent and I hope he becomes a HOFer.
But KP is also great.
I think they'll be linked going forward.
There's obvious joy in seeing a fellow Dominican do well. But it doesn't marry me to him. I was happy for Felipe Lopez too but he wasn't that good.

I thought KP was a special talent leading up to the draft, if he ends up better than KAT it wouldn't be shocking considering how agile he is for his size, that is a complete rarity in the NBA. Dudes that are his height don't move like that, the last one was Ralph Sampson.

He played for the Dominican national team against Canada when he was a junior (I think) in high school and I was calling him the Dominican Bargnani. He just floated around the 3 point line and did nothing.
Granted he was just a kid, but I didn't think he'd be anywhere near the guy he's become
