So am I the only one who remembers a few years ago Kobe wanting to be traded if the Lakers didn't improve and the Lakers having a package of Deng/Gordon or something ready to move for him but then I want to say he retracted his statement or they were given Gasol.

I'm saying that to say this. The only way it seems these guys get help is when they say they are going to leave or request out. GM's don't seem to really be that active at all until then.

JJ Hickson who the next season he proceeded to trade for be damned if I remember. Lebron would of stayed if they had brought in Amare. Can't brought in Antawn Jamison.

That's not true. Part of why they didn't trade for Amar'e is because they couldn't get a commitment from Amar'e. All that would have happened is that they would have lost both of them in one offseason.

as opposed to having Antawn Jamison an extra year or so? either way it goes Stern hooked us up with the 1st pick. But fact is we still don't have Jamison.
