Otto top three shooter at the small forward position percentage wise. Also one of top rebounders at his position. He's also just 24.
I wouldn't Max him but I can see why teams would take their chances with him
Edit:
2016-17 Regular Season NBA Player Stats and League Leaders - 3-Points - National Basketball Association - ESPN
at 3 pt field goal percentage of 43.4 percent he's top five for the season behind people who mostly took less shots than him. Second highest 3pt field goal at small forward behind ingles who took 62 less shots than him. He was for most of the season leading all players in the category though until he aggravated his hip. He's in the range of Kyle korver and reddikk as far as results.
As far as 2 pt field goal percentage he was at 57.6 percent. Third in all wing players behind only LeBron and durant who were at 61.1 and 60.8 percent. Mo harkless and Giannis comes up next at 57.2 and 56.3 percent.
He got 6.4 rebounds and is ninth among small forwards but he can get much higher and he was at some point in top four in a group with LeBron, giannis and KD. I saw someone say schematically they scaled back offensive rebound attempts. He can rebound the ball at a high rate of you ask him.
So I can see why people think he may have a chance to blossom. He's still young. He's among the top in his position at certain categories years before his prime.
The major holes though is his ability to create for himself, upping his shot attempts and he isn't Elite in defense yet.
