NBA Had $100M Jump In Ticket Sales From 13-14 - RealGM Wiretap

The NBA earned approximately $100 million more in ticket sales during the 14-15 season than they did during the 13-14 season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Atlanta Hawks led the increases in gate receipts from the previous season.

The Hawks had their best season in years, leading to sellout crowds, while LeBron James returned to the Cavaliers.

I imagine that Cleveland and Atlanta have some of the more affordable ticket prices in the country.

Four tickets to a Knicks game with food and drinks could be like half your mortgage for the month.

Well most Knicks games are sold out anyway so they would never lead in this type of category unless they add more seats to MSG.

Atlanta is confirmed to be full of bandwagoners because more fans showed up because the team improved? :what: Isn't that what you want, for support of your team to increase when the product gets better?
I wouldnt know, Bulls attendance is always consistently high. I guess not every team has that level of support

Yes for a team with a legacy of championships and that has consistently been one of the NBAs better teams with a superstar player for the last 5-6 years. Hawks have been a mediocre team supported mostly by die hards in a transient city. I'm not sure why it's a bad thing for fan support to increase for a team that has been consistently mediocre for years

With the legacy of being a six time champion...nikkaz rock Bulls shyt & Jordan's all over the world. It's not a surprise that one of the GOAT franchises in NBA history would have great attendance
