nothing but injures all playoffs fatigued bodies they need to lower the gamesIt won't go down to 60 games, do you guys realize what happens once these leagues start expanding and the contracts get higher? Tickets prices will skyrocket if they cut a quarter of the season off the schedule.60 games. Diversify the teams that play nationally. 5 game first round series.

I didn't type that with the expectation of it happening. It won't go down to 60 games, do you guys realize what happens once these leagues start expanding and the contracts get higher? Tickets prices will skyrocket if they cut a quarter of the season off the schedule.
Baseball started with a 70 game season...then it just kept going up. Although it hasn't changed in 50 years.
This doesn't happen every year though. There's been a lot of freak injuries that have nothing to do with amount of games played, like Kevin Love or Sefolosha or Kyrie even. Conley's injury had nothing to do with physical fatigue.
This is true but Kevin Love's injury did have a lot to do with having a 7 game first round rather than a 5 game first round.
I don't understand why extending the season is not an option. The league has actually condensed the schedule by limiting the teams that can play on Thursdays and pushing the end of the season up in order to accommodate a pretty useless and pointless 2 week first round and you got a week long all star break too. Something has got to give. Nobody is giving dates back. There is no point in even discussing that. However, I have yet to hear a legit reason why the regular season can't go into late April/early May and the playoffs can't just extend into July.
