they are awful. only thing redeeming is them having the rights to the games. but thats really not them doing anything anyways.
on top of that TNT HD is much clearer than ESPN/ABC's.

should be double headers monday - wed, fri, and games on saturday at 1:00, 3:30, 6:00 and 9pm
Not enough NBA coverage for me.
Especially considering the fact ABC barely has games compared to GOAT Tripleheader days on NBC.

I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT BASKETBALL ON SATURDAY NIGHT.
You guys overrate NBC in that regard.
They NEVER showed bball before the Superbowl was over, unless it was a Christmas day game.
The triple-headers were only like one maybe two weekends in the playoffs. ABC/ESPN does triple headers almost EVERY week this time of year.
Jalen and SOMETIMES JVG are the only thing they have going.

the only thing good about NBA on NBC was the intro music. then you had bob costas or marv albert doing a little story at the beggining
second good thing was they didnt drown out the crowd noise like they do today.
other than that id rather have double headers on wed and fridays

You have to remember, NBC operates by itself as a standalone network, so their not merged with a sports network like ESPN. NBC worked with TNT and TBS back then to show an assortment of games on the weekend during playoff season. You have to remember, your really only going to get triple headers in the first round series, and back then it was only best of 5. So in all likelyhood your only going to get 1 weekend where u can show a triple header saturday and sunday because the following week your going to have half the field eliminated. If they played best of 7 back then you would had seen atleast 2 weekends with triple headers.
