Man shut up. The players who are going to smoke weed with a new policy are assuredly ALREADY smoking weed, they just don't want to have to worry about getting caught for it. And only a couple are gonna START smoking weed just because the league legalizes it. Alcohol is legal, by your logic 90% of players in the league would be playing drunk. And Jamaica isn't in Africa breh.

Now that I reread your post I think you were just :troll: anyway so my bad if you were.

are you serious? ...........lol.........

Seriously, I'm not saying weed is a "bad thing" but everyone that's pro legalization, keeps acting like its a "good thing", which is totally false.. Does Snoop look to be in good shape to you all?

Yes, as far as health is concerned, I agree weed is better then alcohol, but "how much better? And at what rate?

Long term health Id say that weed is less damaging then alcohol.. But short term? :ld: .Personally when i smoke I'm out of it for a couple days...

And who says its going to be an either or situation.. What if people get high and blunted together. All I'm saying is that there are variables that's everyone is not talking into account . in today sports where everything is done scientifically and cutting edge technology is applied with fitness and training idk how weed is going to be a beneficial to top tier athletes when everyone is looking for that competitive edge..

Also, The NBA doesn't even want athletes dressing up in their own style of clothes, for image purposes, what makes you thing they are going to be cool with the branding that comes along with being high on social media on world wide scale (remember weed in not legal or acceptable globally)

To be clear I'd like to see weed legalized in sports... I'm tired of seeing athletes treated like animals and consonantly pushed to being perfect members of society... I'm old school, and I like the days when NBA games where slower, defensive minded, and in the mid 90s.. The NBA of the 1990's was the NBA in its purest form before all of these analytics took over.. But today, everyone keeps pushing for bigger faster stronger higher scoring and I don't see how adding weed to the mix is going to help make the game better, if you will.

Lastly, not every profession should be allowed to smoke weed how would you feel knowing the pilot of you plane just smoked a J the night before?:win: Do you want a more "relaxed" pilot landing your plane?:whoa:

lol.. NBA players on weed is going to result in a lot of nikkas not giving a fukk...

Take the Jamaican soccer teams for example.. they have just has much talent as any other African nation, but you know why you never here of them doing well.. NEVER? Because they all like to get blunted and womanize.. They realize that all that's important in life.. Women, weed, and food..

Here in America the focus is business and branding, and weed its going to derail a lot of the principals the white man is trying to instill upon people in the western world
Their track team excels though:what:

I've talked to people in Jamaica and the consensus about the soccer team is that they all party too much.. i remember watching them play France last year and they got beat 8-0 and you could tell they didn't even care...

Track stars seem to be more focused and take care of their bodies better, kinda how they do thoroughbred horses are.. Always in tip top shape..

Also Usain Bolt is already on record saying that he doesn't smoke weed and if he did he wouldn't be the athlete that he is today,

weed is less harmful than alcohol both short term and long term. there really isn't an argument here. being burnt >>> hangover. i'm not saying weed is particularly good for you.. but the consequences of alcohol abuse are infinitely more severe than marijuana abuse.

i can tell you've never driven while blazed.

my pilot isn't going anywhere if he sparked right before a flight. i'll know something's up when the plane is doing circles on the runway at 15mph and the flight attendants are out of peanuts because the pilots ate them all.

and you know pilots drink right?

Pretty sure the reason why the Jamaica soccer teams don't beat other national teams is because the other teams are better

I don't see it happening because of the image/brand issue. The first step would be to make it legal federally.

My family is Jamaican. I asked my father this question and he said all the Jamaican soccer players care about doin is showin off and doin that and 1 shyt with the ball. They don't really care about winning like that. All they wanna do is show off and go and party to bloodclaat..
