NBA ready to discuss tv right deal

ESPN cutting budget, maybe Comcast/NBC outbids them for NBA? The BIG 4 (Fox, NBC, CBS, ABC) all have cable channels now, is there still any reason to split the rights between TNT & ABC? If TNT lost it to NBC lets say, no way NBC wouldn't bring over the TNT crew like they brought over Al Michaels and Madden from ABC when they got Sunday Night Football...

NBC would have to negotiate getting out of their deals, since those announcers are signed directly to the network. They had to barter with ABC to get Al Michaels away from ABC after 30 years

As for NBC bringing over TNT guys, not sure how NBC would feel about bringing back Marv Albert given their past. Moving the NBA back to NBC would hardly resemble what it looked like 10 years. shyt ain't frozen in time.

NBC been fukking up so bad, Im not even sure if I want them to get the NBA back even though I got nostalgia like everyone else.

NBC is great with production and dramatics, ABC is half assed and boring and we watch it because we have to.
