My father always says with irony how funny it is when this government talks about the war on terror going after ISIS, Al Qaeda, etc., when the Klan is still alive here at home and were the first terrorists active in the US.

You're article presents a facile case and is completely disingenuous because of this.
1. You rather neatly and conveniently remove the largest Islamic terrorist attack and dilute the data badly. By presenting the truncated data you doctor the results to present a false narrative that supports your spurious conclusion.
2. U.S. terrorist organizations are a fraction of the size of Islamic terrorist organizations. They lack the resources, funds and structure to affect the populace on the same scale.
3. U.S. terrorist organizations target specific factions with the U.S. populace and are not nearly as indiscriminate as Islamic terrorist organizations which are in direct conflict of the entire populace.
4. Very few U.S. terrorist organizations promote zealotry to the point of self-sacrificing behavior whereas Islamic terrorist organizations routinely see this as the likely, if not openly preferred, outcome. That level of ideological zealotry is infinitely more dangerous to and targets ALL of a populace.
5. To compare like to like, you would need to compare Islamic terrorist attacks IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY. When you do this, their inherent danger is readily illustrated. Their domestic terrorist activities are FAR more deadly. This is against their own citizenry, against a foreign culture normal nationalistic restraints do not apply and they are capable of far greater savagery.
6. Islamic terrorist organizations have the resources, infrastructure and funding to strike outside their own country. Their reach and conviction is staggering in this regard.
7. You seem to imply that U.S. terrorist organizations aren't monitored, detained and interrogated. This is not the case. However, they ARE still U.S. terrorist organizations and as such are afforded certain rights and considerations that foreign nationals openly engaging in warfare against the entire U.S. citizenry are not. You're comparison and remarks about Gitmo are completely disingenuous, blatantly inaccurate and patently out of line.
8. By using the term "White Americans" in such a broad and generalized way you employ the exact same tactics and methods that you demonize and vilify in those you disagree with who use "Muslim" so casually. By the same logic that you decry "Islamaphobics" as ignorant racist, so are you.
9. You draw parallels from two completely different demographics, domestic terrorist and foreign terrorist, by cooking the results to support your claims and completely disregard the inherent differences.
10. You doctor your results to present "White Americans" as more and insidious and dangerous to the populace as if this in any way mitigates the threat of Islamic terrorist organizations. It does nothing of the sort. Whether the threat to the populace comes from without or within, the threat still exist. This is a deliberate obfuscation of a legitimate threat to push a narrative. As "journalists" this should be beneath you.
Congratulations. You have achieved a new low. Hypocrisy power level: over 9000.

They needed a "study" to determine this????????? :dahell:

from the black or brown perspective this is obvious, but from the white perspective, its always everyone else that they should fear. Plus any case is always stronger with actual academic or peer scrutinized evidence.

I hear you... but

From any reasonable perspective this is obvious. If they want to be in denial that's their problem.

But I didn't see brehs gunning people down in Columbine
I didn't see brehs bombing OK City
Newtown, CT wasn't caused by a breh
Dylan Roof aint no breh

I could go on and on.

Their ignorance of the facts is what fuels my apathy for the tragedy :yeshrug:
