There are multiple towns in NC that are damn near 100% black, with black people in high positions as well. :dahell:

Leave your RTP bubble once in a while breh.

Explain why that matters if the whole state is majority white? Every black person votes democrat and every white person votes republican then republican will have more votes.

That is one incident in how many? It makes a difference when your city is majority black, skilled or educated, with blacks in city council and a history. Now gentrified Durham may fair differently as projects like Few Gardens are torn down and downtown is now hipster heaven.

And this shooting in Raleigh isn't one incident? I'm not caping for the cops or nothing but I've been in Raleigh-Durham since 99 and this is the first time I've heard of RPD shooting a man in the back like that. I can't say this city has a history of it either.

The last racial incident here happened a few years ago with some bar in downtown Raleigh acting funny on letting black folk in.

Hence why they passed those new Voter ID laws to keep the elderly black people from voting....

lol @ implying NC is historically blue. 2008 was an anomaly breh. With Bush and the Repubs tanking the economy, the Democratic nominee was all but assured a win -- even still we BARELY had a majority vote for Obama.

true. it'll go red in November again. And when NC went blue, a lot of it was also bolstered by the state races too.

Outside of Raleigh- Durham and the Triangle, Asheville, Triad (to some degree) and Charlotte/ Mecklengburg, NC is still really conservative.

@Doobie Doo you're right. you rarely hear shyt about Raleigh cops and police misconduct and excessive force.

I will say that.

Their turnout speaks for itself. The shyt keeps up, NC is gonna be a reliable red state going forward.

Also, you're from NC too right? You know that area or something? Let's skip the bullshyt. Everyone knows that story doesn't add up on EITHER side so far.

The state is Gerrymandered.
