Stay away from the south and the coasts:huhldup:

Did they mess up the map or why does it looks like the edge of California gets spared from whatever these new coastlines are? :jbhmm:

Isn't all that area where Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming meet mountains? How high these damn coastlines gonna be? :damn:

Go from snowboarding straight to surfing without missing a beat. :dahell:

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the South is composed of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia—and Florida

I already know all that moe :mjlol: The purpose of my comment was to let that dude know that "the North" wasn't some saint when it came to slavery or plantations and if you look into the history of New York (especially Wall St. and Long Island) and New Jersey (most especially South Jersey), it wasn't always some beacon upon a shining hill.

But since you made mention of the Census, technically Maryland is geographically in the South and even I made mention of that numerous times. Now culturally however is an entirely different debate.

The south is cool but I'm never leaving NY

Too many people dont live smart, but they get smart by going places they enjoy

Had neighbors move to myrtle beach maybe 20 years ago. the plan wasnt glamourous but it ended up working and being great for them.
It all depends, like I say in all threads related to living... on if you are on the treadmill or not. Some people want to ride a new treadmill... some people arent on a treadmill at all.

If you own shyt you are good forever. even people who own can be dumb as fukk and live in terribly taxed areas to look more worthy and shyt
Then they complain about the tax, when they are the ones who chose that. They could have bought a house 2 miles away with half the tax

Other people make it completely and can live in NYC easily. At that point a vacation to anywhere in the world is still cheaper than a months rent. You win anywhere at that point.
But if you are on the treadmill of constantly paying, some people get sick of the treadmill. It all just depends on your position and what you want out of it.

Its just sad most people are too dumb to see it this way... it only works 1 way to them and they cant comprehend options. Thats why they are complacent in the first place.

lol your salary won’t travel unless you level up in the process. If you sold a property and got net proceeds then that’s where people usually get ahead.
many tech companies are paying the same across the board or chopping off something like 15% max...so taking a 200k SF/Bay Area salary down to 170k to live in Tennessee is still a MAJOR win.

Living in cities is always going to be expensive. In the south the rural areas will still be cheap. Most of the people I work with live outside of the city
