Breh there's not a major metropolitan area that doesn't have a nuclear power plant within 100 miles some have more than one.

I used to complain about blackouts in Kenya yes the grid is fukked up but the main thing is that they don't use nuclear power. In our lifetimes we consume way more power. I remember regular TV used to sign off at night now every station is 24/7 everyone plugs their cellphones in the wall when they go to sleep. You need tons more power than back in the day and nuke is the only way to get it reliably .
