Maryland was not a Confederate state, it remained in the Union during the Civil War. Plus, it's not a Southern state, otherwise that would make Baltimore and DC southern cities. Another topic you remain wrong on :snoop:

It was a Union state. But it still had slavery in Maryland. It was very much was and technically still is a Southern state. It would make DC in the South also. Where did you learn history from? :wtf:

It's below the Mason-Dixon line, so yeah it's technically the South. But culturally, MD and DC are the North.

Come on man, no one in recent times has ever classified MD as the South. It shares a lot more in terms of culture with the North East. I'm not going by an 19th century construct. You can't call MD a Southern state and not classify Baltimore/DC as southern cities, and they are very much not that...

Technically, if you want to be very precise about this, the eastern shore portion of MD that borders VA could be considered Southern... Then again for me, the South starts at an invisible line between Alexandria and Quantico going east and bisecting the DelMarVa peninsula... There is a similar line dividing Texas between South and West by the way... but overall? Nah.
