Upstate new york is like living down south.
It's country as shyt and poverty is bad.

It’s a dump outside of how some of these farms look along with the actual nature aspects (visually). I remember years ago driving up to Toronto and stopping for gas’s couple of hours outside of Syracuse.

The people looked like fukkin Honey Boo Boo and her family. Broke ass CACs everywhere, not much going on in town and it literally felt like what you hear about these backward ass towns that litter the south.

And even with “larger” cities like Buffalo, Syracuse and Rochester you got drugs and crime to deal with, very little industry and broke ass people. It literally felt like the only shyt popping in Syracuse was the university.

It’s very clear why the overwhelming concentration of wealth in the state is in NYC, Westchester, Long Island and then wherever in NJ people with $ fanned off into

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Maryland was not a Confederate state, it remained in the Union during the Civil War. Plus, it's not a Southern state, otherwise that would make Baltimore and DC southern cities. Another topic you remain wrong on :snoop:

I follow a DC group on Facebook since I’m always in the city. Lots of older generation DC folks claims the south.

NYC is more related to New Jersey than NY state.

oh I already know. New Yorkers with $ who wanna leave the city look at Jersey first because they know Long Island and the nicer parts of Westchester will run their pockets.

I had a former co-worker who drove damn near 2hrs to the office. These people come here to get the big salaries and carry that shyt right up outta the city

Simple state there but two main cities Newark and Wilmington and the rest is country with nice beaches on the coast that boarder Maryland.

my cousin who is raised in Philly works at JP Morgan office in Newark.

Years ago there use to be a group out there that went to NY to advertise neighborhoods for people to move to. My friends mother was sold and bought herself a home down there.

Huh? I only mentioned one option so I’m not sure what you’re saying. But I was asking specifically about the stat you mentioned. Was that figure the increase year over year or over some other time period?

You asked if the census does year by year?

I answered and told you both. If you wanted the answer you could simply go on the census website and see for yourself

that’s not how life works. You better be working hard to get a better job or raise to deal with the rise of cost of living
no one said i wasn't making the money to afford it but that doesn't change how frustrating it is to see pricing jump 36% over the past year, especially when rents have been relatively stable for years.

plus, most jobs in florida are low paying, most long-term residents don't have the luxury of just finding better jobs and getting raises.

we can chalk it up to "that's life" but don't be surprised when people say something about it
