Did a little hwk on this cac, indie artists really estin like that to the point they perform in other countries?
Necro is no average rapper

Best producer over a 16 year span

Does all his own promotion and website and Web Store work

Necro was around in the new York mixtape scene and on stretch and Bobbito In the early 90s

ofcourse. The net is the ultimate equalizer for musicians, equal access to fans and listeners.
You don't have to get signed to a major label or signed at all to be rich off music nowdays, unless you want to be a popstar.

Thats why I dont get this boards obsession with the mainstream

Necro is far from an Internet rapper tho. He was all over New York underground radio back in the day and did shows with Boot Camp and MF Doom. Internet did keep him afloat tho.

I used to be a pretty big Necro fan. Him and Non Phixion were killing it in the late 90s and early 2000s.

But Necro fell off heavy when he started bringing in that metal trash into his music and his more traditional beats dropped off in quality after that too. That G Rap collabo was weak.

Same and Agreed.

This is one of my favorite Necro beats, also one of my favorite Cage songs
