Need Car Help

My car won`t start. I went to the bank at 11 to cash a small check and got back to my house at 12. It worked perfectly. When I went to go to work at 2, it wouldn`t start, so I got a friend to drive me to work, and figured I`ll try it again later.

I have an 08 Honda Civic, and I just tried it now. The headlights work and the cabin light works. The car makes a weird noise when I try to turn it on, and the icons on the dash flash.

Any ideas on whats wrong, how fukked I am, and how much it might cost?

About 40. I went to advance auto and they checked the battery. It was dead so I got it recharged and I'm going to get a new one next week

had the same issue last week but the weather here was about -22f

Sounds like an alternator or starter possibly. Check those first before replacing the battery.
