Need help finding an early Black Eyed Peas song

So I know there was this one BEP song before they went all pop that was on some soundtrack or compilation, must've been somewhere in the late 90s.

It was good old boombap, kind of a melancholic beat (not upbeat at all), conscious if you will. No idea what the name was, cant remember any lyrics or anything, just vaguely the beat. It's NOT Joints and Jam on the Bulworth soundtrack. Cant find anything on Google

Nah that's not the one. Dope track though, but way more upbeat than the one I'm thinking of. I think it must've been a little later
