good point. Take a vacation or some time off. You can use some bereavement leave if possible also.
Or call out sick that day. Only sick day I've ever used is to go to another job interview. The fact that it's the only one I've used shows that I didn't get the other job.

Leave of absence implies a long duration off of work. Why would the interview process take so long?so you want me to tell them i got a couple of interviews coming up that offers way more money than what I'm getting right now?
Maybe use your vacation, sick days?

b/c i dont have sick days so i can't use it to go to any specific interviews.
You get vacation days, if so, use them How many days do you need to take off?
Don't know the procedures around jury duty, but can you use that as an excuse?
Worst comes to worst, call in sick and don't get paid
Stress is the easiest way to go on LOA
Go to a counselor/psychiatrist (in network) tell them that work has you stressed out and is effecting your family life, sleep, sense of worth, hairline, whatever else...they write a note...use that to go to HR and take your time

go to your GP complaining about abdominal pains and say you've been heavily constipated for the past few days and your ass is leaking blood.

Do you just need days off? Or do you need to take a legit LOA? If you need a legit LOA make sure to read labor laws about your employment before you try it, if you have been employed for under a year most jobs can terminate you. (in most states)
Honestly need more details to give any real advice.
If you just need a few days its always better to go into work sick and then have to leave early, don't come back the next day. I always use Ipecac syrup with breakfast when i wanna leave early and be gone the next day. Causes you to violently throw up in a few minutes and the effects don't last long. But when your bosses/coworkers see you they will think you are dying, and insist you go home right away.
