Need help,Xbox One wont read/recognize disc

i dont know how long it's been like this since I only play madden and the own that digitally

I tried installing NBA 2k17 last night and my xbox wouldn't recognize the disc.It was acting like it wasn't a disc in it

The game was brand new so i knew it wasn't the disc but I tried a couple other games and blurays and the same thing happened

I googled and saw alot of people have the same problem.The fix is supposed to be to hold the disc for a second when the xbox is trying to pull it in or tilt the system back a little so the disc can go all the way in but neither has worked for me

Anybody else had this problem before and if so how did you get it to work again?

Im saving the rice as a last option

I wish that i did just buy 2k digitally

Only copped the disc cause it was $30 on amazon and they was charging $60 through the xbox for tye digital copy

Had I known rapestop had the digital copy for $35 I would've got that instead

Make sure it's all the way off and not in sleep mode. Should work when you turn it back on.

Then stop buying discs. It's not 2007 anymore

Disc only gets used once then it's all digital anyway so it's no big deal. They have digital deals on that game all the time tho. Should have asked

I haven't put a disc in it since Black Friday 2015 when i got NBA 2k16

I have the same issue on my XB1. Ejecting the disc then tilting the xbox as far back without the cords coming out then inserting works for me most of the time. The only full fix is to send it to microsoft.
