Need your help Coli! Can’t remember a music group!

This band did a couple of really big soundtrack songs. I can’t remember which movies but I THINK they were British movies like Layer Cane or Snatch.

The band is white with a black male lead singer. They had a simple name like “the something”, I thought it was The bullets but that isn’t it.

I know it’s vague but my brain needs this info. Thx.
