Neither Sami Zayne or Cody Rhodes Should Dethrone Roman Reigns

John cena got organically over by being unique and then sold out but still had that it factor and knew how to work it. No way bland cody can be a broke man’s John Cena and keep momentum.

I don't think Cena was unique. The white guy rapping gimmick was done in wrestling before. What was that trash tag team who were rapping for Ron Simmons? That alcoholic Jamie Dundee and someone else.
Cena was a good wrestler in overall: he had a physique, he could cut promos well and he looked good enough in the ring. The white rapping gimmick really blew up after Eminem's 8 mile, which is around the same time Cena picked up this gimmick. Every white kid from the suburbs wanted to be like Eminem/Cena

To me, the roster's too big for just one champion. And they barely do anything with the midcard titles so having two world champions takes care of that. If we're being honest, the Intercontinental Champion should be the #2 or #3 guy in the company, but that title hasn't been treated with any prestige in years.

Not every division needs brand-specific belts, but if you're going to split the roster in half, you need to have two world champions. Especially since the guy you give the title to isn't around all the time. It was awkward as hell in 2014/2015 when Lesnar was champion because half the time, they forgot they even had a world title.

Then develop the midcard...for midcard guys. The problem is; there aren't 15 guys that deserve the World title at one time.

I can't comment on 2015, but, right now, Roman is the top guy and has been for a year. He deserves his stop.

I don't think the solution to devalued mid-card title (which I don't think is the case, today) is the devalue and water down the top title.

There's only one Super Bowl champ and one NBA Finals Champ for a reason.

In the WWE Live Threads (Raw/Smackdown) mostly Raw, cause that's what brand Ford wrestles on the most. I see posts like

Which I think is fukking stupid. Number 1, just a "tag team wrestler" is by far the dumbest thing in recent memory....Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and Booker T just to name a few. Started as tag team wrestlers in WWE/WCW respectively. Just because you're in a tag team doesn't mean you forget how to wrestle as a singles competitor

Booker T went on possibly the greatest run of all time in WCW, yet he didn't throw Stevie Ray threw a window or "turn heel"

At the end of the day, no one knows but said parties involved in said matches. What I do know is Montez Ford and his tag team partner Angelo Dawkins will be in a Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match tonight on WWE Raw. Will this be the start of the singles run for Ford. Maybe, maybe not.

Montez is only a tag team wrestler. I think, maybe you're not understanding a little. Montez right now is only a tag team wrestler so they'll need to be doing a whole lot of convincing and building if he's going to be even half way believable to beat Roman. That's where the whole "he's only a tag team wrestler" but is coming from.

Cody has to win at WrestleMania. Let the title picture reset, let Roman go home and be a family man. It is what it is.

There is a good chance that this is what's going to happen. I've accepted it and I'm excited to see Wrestlmania.

I hope Roman sticks around and runs a SummerSlam program with Jey for the head of the table.

Kids love Cody. That's who is going to get the rub to beat Roman. You're going to get sick of him just like your parents were of McDonald's because you dragged them there every week to get the new Kids Meal toy. He didn't agree to comeback to WWE with the goal of winning the title without getting reassurances he would win the title.

I still think Cody is getting the win at Mania.

So many wrestling fans forget that in the end it is a business.

They actually think HHH is gonna book Montez Ford as the chosen one.

Fantasy booking yourself into a corner of future disappointment isn’t a good choice breh.

Right now Cody and Sami are the best options. We would love to see Montez get a main event run but I doubt it’s gonna come now.

Have Bron Brekker debut and squash Roman in 5 minutes at a PLE later this year.

Romans run with the belt is beyond Honky Tonk Man status right now.

Even HHH was self aware enough to tap out to Benoit at WM 20 and let him have some shine.
