What can they revise? It's a tablet with controllers on the side. They likely don't make it smaller. New controllers? Internal memory isn't important with an SD slot.

Better more battery efficient processor like they always do with their handhelds. This isn't even based on the latest from the Tegra chipset. I'd be a fool to just buy the first version when I know their history. If they don't update in a year or two from now or I see a can't miss deal I'll buy this one.

Meh, you can find these pretty easily these days if you are really looking for one.

I see them pop up regularly on craigslist in my area for $270-$280.

Don't matter, they sold out online anyway.
They can be found in stores today though. Mass restock for Splatoon 2
