Breh, when I'm in Cali and it's "cold", I'm like :martin:

On our trip, we had a rental on the ocean in Carlsbad. I wanted to get in the ocean, but it never got hot enough outside, and this was the summer:russ: Got back to the IE, and it was back into the mid 90s:bryan:

Netflix can't track location data from casting, and with VPN use being as widespread as it is they also have regional content restrictions to consider. So forcing an account that originated in LA to log in to a smart tv in Australia when someone travels makes sense from their perspective because feeds their internal metrics.

This is less a convenience issue than it is one of privacy. Morons of course will defend having less options, but morons will always do what they do.

Lo-key casting is one of the last ways to use someone else’s account on TV via an old Chromecast device.
I don’t constantly watch Netflix but when something big comes out like Stranger Things I login to my sister’s Netflix account on my phone in Airplane mode which bypasses the “Not your household” check. Once you are logged in, I turn off Airplane mode and start casting to my TV.

There's always other options.

Loyalty to a company, especially a streaming one that just wants your money at any expense is crazy.
