I just saw the ad for this yesterday while watching breaking bad......looked like an interesting premise. I think I'll give it a shot.

I watched the whole series... I still have mixed feelings on it. It's just very strange to watch him interact with everyone in English but then everyone talks to him in Norwegian. He understands them after living in the States his whole life? It asks you to suspend your disbelief in a jarring way, right off the bat.
Also, the "tough guy" routine gets kind of old. Every single problem he solves by just getting a little tough on the locals and they all just capitulate to his demands.
He's not doing anything particularly clever, it's just raising his voice or making a threat or some extremely mild extortion and these pussified people just cower in his presence. I was entertained, but they're going to need to do something else if they want this to really have some legs.
