Netflix "Van Helsing" absolute series piff!

I guess I've been sleeping on Netflix heavy mayne. Haven't watched anything on the flip in like 7 years.

I watched the Korean zombie flick Kingdom and it was bomb. Decided to give Van Helsinki a spin.

Gotta admit...I can't stop watching it. It was challenging to get over the lack of budget for gore effects, as the vampires don't even have fangs and you can't even perceive a wound after being bitten. And they really don't seem stronger or faster than humans. Though it does get better as the series progress.

It's a great show to binge.

Van Helsing with the 2 sisters? If so, it's ....aight. Nothing I would be excited about. Castlevania has a far better story than it does.

I haven't seen any two sisters. Apparently it's a Scifi channel original.

Sam and Muhammad got the best/most disturbing dynamic tho
The sister comes in like season 3 I think. I stopped at season 4 cause the main chick is a straight a$$hole.

show is piff it was a sci-fi original My wife got me into it. when i realized they named all the episodes for season two after Soundgarden songs i became a fan

I stopped watching because the sidethreads weren't interesting to me at all. Plus the way they demoted the sister from badass to almost useless sidekick didn't sit well with me either.

Main character keeps getting pregnant which throws a couple of seasons off
I think it was season 3 when the sister comes in to replace her while she's gone and the last season where they introduce 2 new VHs (somehow her daughters?)
Her pregnancy made them create these new storylines that mostly don't fit
even still its overall good for a SyFy show
