Many of you know Sarah Paulson from her many roles in the AHS universe, you may have noticed she was not part of the 1984 season. She was doing other projects and here is one of her highly anticipated ones:

This is an origin story of the no bullshyt dame of the institutionalized in Oregon State Hospital. Here we get to see what shaped her to be such a no-nonsense head mistress. And possibly the back story of a number of patients who were in the movie as well. Lovers of both the book and the movie are going to love this. Sarah is going to kill this & I see her collecting a number of awards for this.

This has gotten TERRIBLE reviews. I’ve heard it’s a lot like Ryan Murphy’s other stuff where it starts off strong and just kinda fizzles out halfway through. I’m gonna peep this tomorrow though because I like Sarah Paulson

I'm going to give this a watch sometime this weekend. Don't expect anything groundbreaking from Ryan Murphy. Just want plenty of drama and blood and gore and he usually delivers with that.

That last episode wasn’t great. There could have been more.



I’m not feeling Ryan’s gay people are persecuted thing he does, but he’s gay, so I expect him to create from his own perspective.



This character has NOTHING to do with Nurse Ratched from One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s nest, unless they go into that if it gets a second season, which I guess is the point of an origin story. She wasn’t nearly as cold and sinister, but you figured she was a lesbian from the movie.

Overall, I enjoyed it.
