:beli: Are these thangs selling like that?
I don't want this to be like PS4's last year, when nikkaz was acting like they was gonna eat off of resales

Liquid comes to mind :shaq:
I don't think there's much of a profit to be had but it's a great router for Damn near half off. I'm at wally world now but these fools are slow and dude has to go to the back to get a second one for me. So I can bridge two of them for my home network. If they work better than the Asus I'm listing those on eBay.

This is not better than the ASUS AC-RT68U. Taking this back. I bridged two of them together and the transfer rate to my USB 3.0 external went down from an average of 27MB/s to like 19-20MB/s which is still a decent speed but not worth me switching to Netgear.

depends. I use my wireless AC routers for in home streaming and file transfers. If it wasn't for that I could get by with Wireless N speeds. I can transfer a 10.5 GB file in under 4 minutes between computers. I get somewhere around 43MB/s or 344 mbps. When I send it to my USB 3.0 drive plugged up to the router it takes about 9 minutes at somewhere around 27/MB/s or 216 mbps. A wireless N speed router will likely be somewhere around 10 MB/s if you're fortunate.

My mistake turns out I updated the firmware on the main router and not the bridge router. After getting the IP for the second router off the main and getting to the config page I updated the firmware on the second router and the speeds are now exceeding what the ASUS combo was doing by about 15-20 MB/s. The transfer speeds either way are hovering around 40-50 MB/s between computers even at times getting as high as 60 MB/s. That's amazing.

I'm gonna throw these ASUS routers on eBay. The only issue with these Nighthawks is some people report data corruption on external hard drives plugged up to the USB ports on them. I'm gonna have to get a real NAS solution.
