The Brooklyn Nets honored one of their own with “Biggie Night” on Sunday.
The team recognized the rapper at the Barclays Center 20 years after his death with his mother, Voletta Wallace, children T’yanna and CJ, widow Faith Evans, Mark Pitts and Wayne Barrow at halfcourt.
“Thank you so much for inviting myself, my granddaughter, my grandson, Faith, Wayne and Mark for this wonderful night. This is my very, very first professional basketball game,” Wallace said. “From the bottom of my heart, I have to remember what my son said in the past: ‘Brooklyn, we did it.’”
