Ok brehs I'm curious for you cats who have next gen (current gen) systems. How are you connecting to the internet. is it thu LAN and static ip or wireless.

I'm trying to troubleshoot why my systems seem to have so many errors. I have been trying to go with all digital downloads but so far that idea is a flop. As I have constant errors can't download all the DL conten 100% of the Tim and just a game of glitches. Post any fixes and redmedy you known of also.

This is my router
And this is my modem,

I have time warner ultimate (50mbps with turbo boost)

Hardwired, mostly.

By mostly I mean I have two routers, the main router (Linksys E2500, okay router. Wish I got a Netgear, but it performs well enough.) Another Linksys Router E900 used as a repeater bridge, the console is hardwired to the repeater bridge and it's used as a wireless adapter to the E2500 main router. The signal is guaranteed to be very strong and online gaming is stable because of it. I used Qos, so the console has priority even if I'm downloading porn or something.

only thing hard wired is my xboxone. the tv's, ps4, ps3's and 360's all wireless. what i did when i moved in my house was call comcast and have them run a dedicated line from outside to the upstairs man cave.

cable is on another dedicated line. this may or may not help you

If you want best speed straight from router buy ethernet cable and connect it straight to the system while making everything wireless. Configure router to prioritize ethernet line as the priority. Simple and clean.
