When i went to my neighbors funeral, woman who didn't have much of a family, me and my brother were pallbearers and she had no coffin. It was just a sheet over her. One of the other pallbearers made a joke about her agreeing with something her son said because she was "shaking her head" (you could see her shake from being carried without a coffin)
Hurt my heart to hear that.
