Never played Godfather 2. I loved the first one but the map was hard to navigate. I loved shaking down the store owners and throwing them out the window.

I owned both. I owned godfather 2 multiple times, they always got stolen.

2 was much better than one and one wasn't bad.

It was the original godfather game that got me into GTA.

I had played vice city and San Andreas but just went around shooting shyt, blowing shyt up and acting a fool, never did the stories or missions. It was one of the games that was on at a couple of friends house so we'd be sitting around talking, bullshytting and just passing the controller around, not doing missions and story.

When Scarface and godfather came out I figured they were just shyt games cashing in on the name and franchise.

I eventually play them and because I know the stories so well that made the storyline and missions interesting and the games are just fun.

I did cop San Andreas and played that, still haven't touched GTA 5, won't touch 6 for a while. But if everything is online I won't have to. Did beat red dead 3 as well.

This game, with the licence and some production value could be Sleeping Dogs level of good, 'cause building the drug empire was fun until it got generically repetitive in terms of having to constantly race against the clock to 'save' your fronts on some bullshyt.
A cover system and body specific damage rather than bullet sponges falling over, would definitely help the combat as well.
Plus gaining all that money in a dead world felt meaningless as fukk, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a good time killing and cursing while I did it.
:wow:
