Now the purpose of this thread was to get people aware of what they now have access to. I seen a spot that tricked skydrive into seeing any folder on your PC. Not just the 3 folders they defaultly have.
I can't find that right this second. But I did find out if you download the skydrive client onto your PC?

Movies are split for 2 reasons, none of which have anything to do with file size limits on file sharing websites.

The main being the 2009 XviD release standards for the scene that dictate how many 'CDs'/700mb files each movie encoded with XviD should be. XviD is going the way of the dinosaur, so the rules and guidelines will become more obsolete as time goes on to be replaced by more modern ones. People were bytching about the file size limits in 2009. We've been doing this for over 15 years. Split movies? We off that.

The releases are split into 15/20mb archives (again, XviD) for CRC purposes/when releases are pre'd. Again, nothing to do with file sharing websites. Storing videos in archives is not a compression/space saving measure. Media centres will more often than not need to unpack any archived video file that has been stored with compression enabled to save those few KBs.

..but if you wanna lose your mind over some outdated tech/methods then g'head. Have a ball.
