Your not too old, I mean if you can buy a tablet or smartphone and learn to utilize it then you can learn how to use an MPC. I said utilize and not use, most people use their devices or gadgets. Using is the basic functionality, I guarantee if you buy one you'll learn how to load samples and be able to slow down/speed up and press the drum pads over them but if you want to learn how to utilize it and add effects, chop beautiful sounds and transitions the more you learn the better your going to get and the more you'll get out of the machine.

I tell people if they can type they can learn guitar. You have to train your fingers
