If they recast all the new Panther would get is backhanded "he's aight but he's not Chadwick" type of comments at best.

Might as well utilize the people they've got and at a future date reshuffle the board as Secret Wars will allow them to do.

A LOT of them were gung-ho about them not doing a recast upon Chadwick's passing. Now look at 'em. ANYTHING with women (ESPESCIALLY Black women) being in leading roles nowadays is enough to draw their ire and vitriol every single time.

It’s almost disrespectful. I guess IronHeart is gonna be the sidekick and together they fight off Namor. I know they have to synthesize the herb again.

They could have even used the King Of the Dead storyline for why he looks different in a recast.
