New BMW M6 GT3 customer racer to cost $409,000
Race Sunday, August 9th, 2015
The new, low, and very wide BMW M6 GT3 customer racer is set to go on sale next month for $409,000, according to Top Gear.
Weighing in at 1,300kg (625kg less than its road-going sibling), it features an FIA-approved safety cell with carbon fibre crash structures to the front and rear, and not forgetting that stonking great wing.
BMW also told the publication that it will cost 30% less to run than the outgoing customer GT racer, but do you really go into buying one of these considering running costs? We think not.
The model takes over from the Z4 GT3 as BMW’s customer GT racer and can be seen in the metal at the Frankfurt Motor Show, next month.
