1999 Toyota Camry, 28,000 miles - $4000 :gladbron:

I don't really want this old of a car. :comeon: I wanna sell for something more recent since I have money saved for a few mods (leds, tint, xenon headlights, etc), but its a Toyota that will last me forever.

What would yall do. Ride this old muhfukka til I can afford something dope? My dad was hyping up him coppin me a new vehicle and its a 1999? :childplease:

Well, I would visually inspect the car and test drive it. Low mileage Camry at $4000 is a pretty good deal. Carfax it too if turns out good after the test drive.

What to look for? Open all the doors, windows, locks, trunk and hood. Everything should work like it's 5 years old. Everything "look" super clean? Cars with 28,000 miles under the hood should look showroom clean. If its dusty like a 100,000 car, then, it may have been driven with a broken odometer that got fixed later on. See if there's gunk on the engine block or transmission underneath from regular oil changes, oil spills, whatever. Get on the ground and look at the wheel wells, strut bodies, springs, exhaust, underbody. It should be clean.
That's a really low mileage car, check the tires. It should be on its original tires as in 1999. You can't wear through tires in 28,000 miles with OEM tires. I would suspect tire rot.

It should brake very well. Operate the emergency brake. That should be tight.
Interior should be clean, air vents, glove compartment, map pockets. radio. Wear and tear should be minimal if not new-ish.

28,000 is fishy for a 14 year old car. Ask why the low mileage. Driving 1800+ miles a year is a real number for grandmas. Unreal for a regular person. But, if it seems clean, it's a steal. It's rare to get a granny car on the down-low.

I been dying to find a Granny car or a rare car for cheap that she doesn't know what she has so I can get it for a steal.

that's rare as hell tho. gotta actually do some searching like Richard Rawlings or Danny The Count...and they seldom find deals like this too.

2002 Chevy Impala, cracked windshield, tint fallin off, gas gauge don't work, lil bit of rust, and more :snoop:
either use the $4k and buy the Camry outright (it's an older car, yes. but if the overall inspection is legit, then you'll have a reliable, low-maintenance car that'll last years to come).

or use the $4k for a down payment on a newer car and maybe something you'd like more.

I say go with the Camry for now. you can't lose that way.
