On Suspensions:
1. A picture or link of/to your offending post is posted/linked in your ban message, this let's people know what they were suspended for since the mods usually give vague reasons, for example:
what information does the suspended poster receive with """"reasons""""" like this? The suspended poster has no idea what rule they have broken or what the offending post is. Now @cook can just make the mods give actual reasons but I believe 30% of them don't have the brain power to do so. A link to or screen shot of the offending post will at least give the suspended user SOME information since many mods aren't intelligent enough to give a legitimate reason.
2. The ability to appeal a suspension, on the suspension notice page there is a msg box where you may appeal your suspension, the appeal is then sent to a mod from the either the no-nonsense section or to @cook or @Brooklynzson this is for people that believe they were suspended without good reason. Bans that blatently break the rules(posting illegal content) may not be appealed.
3. The ability to stop a mod from banning you or giving you warning points by gathering and presenting evidence that a mod is acting unfairly towards you, while most people are allowed to say X you are suspended or given warning points for also saying X. The evidence will be sent to 7 or 5 anonymous high quality posters and the name of the mod is hidden and the mod is not notified about anything until a decision has been reached, the targeted poster cannot discuss any of this while the anonymous posters are reviewing the evidence. Mods are humans too, and like all humans they have people they do and don't like, but the problem is when they let their feelings interfere with their mod duties. This new feature allows targeted posters to post freely without having to worry about being having privileges taken away or suspended by a mod that does not like them for arbitrary reasons.
On Postings
1. The ability to link things without them being readable on the thread. When you posts links to sites like pastebin or google drive it makes the entire link readable in the thread, which can really clutter up your post, I would like to suggest a new feature that just allows you to link them as clickable links, so they'll look like this
Clinton declines to debate Sanders in California - CNNPolitics.com
instead of this
2. Automatic thread updater, this allows threads to update automatically every 5 seconds or so, this is useful in busy threads. Sometimes when you press the the 'show posts(there may be more posts after this)' button some posts are left out, with an auto thread updater you no longer have to press that button and you can see posts pretty much right after they're posted
[some more features that would be nice but probably wouldn't work]
Mod review section
-a place where coli posters can anonymously send in a review of a mod
-too many negative reviews and the mod either loses their mod privileges OR is forced to change their ways or get axed
* wont work because of mod worship and people misunderstanding the roles mods are supposed to play on internet forums
Will add more later on
