I really wish they'd remaster his unreleased songs and drop them. He had so much heat prior to his debut that never came out officially.

That would require curation and respect for the artist. I'm not sure those traits exist when it comes to the people releasing DMX's shyt now. Dame Grease has a bunch of shyt that likely won't come out solely because Swizz Beatz doesn't control it.

Grease said he wanted to drop it on Vacant Lot.

But X's rights are such a mess, there would be so many people fighting over who controlled what. Grease said he had about 30 finished songs. And he played a few on IG. Those joints are what the people need to hear. I don’t wanna hear anything Swizz puts together.

Something out Swizz is just off putting. Hell a lot of people act weird over the X shyt. I generally liked Steve Rifkin and then he started acting weird after X’s death, claiming to be his manager and in control of things. Everyone is clearly fighting over a pay day and I’m not even sure a payday is coming. This isn’t Pop Smoke, there is no real money to be made off a posthumous album. If you drop something it’s for the love of the artist and wanting to get his work to fans. That’s it. And I just don’t think that’s Swizz’s goal.

Also a lot of people like Swizz got really weird views on energy transfers and they seem to truly believe in using the dead for gain.

Industry nikkas are something else figures him and Timbaland joined fraud forces and look how Verzuz turned out :mjlol:

The Nazi paid for X’s funeral speaks volumes

I can’t wait til the Saudis figure they got got by a scammer except they play by different rules when it comes to repercussions :lupe:

SINY!!
Unless it's the album Grease says he has in a vault, I aint interested. If I remember correctly, they spent a lot of time together in Arizona before X passed. Grease probably has several albums worth of material.
