Welllllll...while Ralph might not be the “star” of the group, he is the voice of New Edition. Let’s just be real here. Especially the hits that came before Johnny. I think he sang lead on everything except Telephone Love. Take Mike, Ricky, or Ronnie’s voice out of the music and does it really change it? Now take Ralph’s out. He probably should get a little more paper than the rest.

I see both sides cuz he is the voice of NEW EDITION but they are also performing solo joints and BBD and other songs that don't involve him so it's not like they doing a NE album. More like greatest hits. Ralph gets a break when Bobby and BBD do they set

the LEAST they could do was let Ralph own the name after how he got jerked out of a bigger solo career
rewriting history

he wasn't an in demand solo act just like slim from 112

It seems like a given the lead singer would be the biggest one out the group but it wasn't like that. Their voices are best used in the group

No, no, no. They got the name wrong.

It should be Ricky, Ronnie, Bobby and Mike just like it was on that song back in the day when the first line, "I just got on board riding the train" to the quiet storm beat.
"Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, and Mike"

edit:...also, why can't nikkas just get it together to replace these Bruno and Timberlakes?:snoop:

I can't believe this ain't getting flamed more than this:gucci:

That song back in the day instead of the iconic "Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky and Mike, if like the girl who cares who you like" from the classic Cool it Now. :gucci:gucci:gucci::dahell:
