New expansion announced for FFXIV: ARR called heavensward

it will be released in spring 2015

its called heavensward because there are multiple ways to get to heavens

will focus on the thousand year war between ishgard and dravania
story focuses on how the player plays in the war
new level cap (60) for all jobs (including shytty crafting/mining jobs)
massive new areas
new race (probably a bunny-ears race)
new jobs
a lot of new dungeons
new primals
a new high end raid
airships that can be built be free companies (guilds)
new gear and recipes
new city (ishgard)

I don't think this is that big announcement. especially with the recent hints at an xbox one version of the game.
